I learned of Andy's passing but I regret having missed the service honoring his life due to my own lack of attention. Not only was Andy my math teacher at Lincoln Academy, who made the subject come to life, but I was on that 1959 state track team he coached. Later I knew him in his Honolulu assignment as well, as I lived there for over 3 decades. Thank you Andy for your life of service! My condolences to his extended family.
