Obituary for Lillian Isabel Lennox

Lillian Isabel Lennox, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 15, 2014 at Miles Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on March 30, 1932 in Cushing, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Maker Curtis.
She attended local schools and later entered the work force. Lillian worked for many years at North Lubec cannery in Rockland, as well as being a dedicated mother and raising her children.
She enjoyed camping, traveling around the state of Maine, shopping and listening to country music. She had a passion for collecting Porcelain Dolls and could be found at most any local flea market. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her husband Fred. Lillian was proud of the work of her son-in-law and grandsons and was always fascinated with their big rigs and loved seeing them all lit up as they hit the road. She loved celebrating Holidays and would dress up with the family on Halloween. Her favorite holidays were always Christmas and July 4th, and on the 4th of July she would head to Damariscotta Lake with her family. A selfless person, she always put others before herself.
She was predeceased by Frank Newhall, sisters Madeline Gray, Dorothy York and Katherine Myrick, and brothers Samuel Curtis, Robert Curtis and Leroy Curtis.
