Obituary for Nancy L. Pranes
Nancy L. Pranes, 72, passed away on April 10, 2018 at her home in Waldoboro, Maine. She was born on November 21, 1945 in Skowhegan, Maine to Leroy Meservey and Caroline (Brown) Meservey.
Nancy grew up in the Gardiner area and attended local schools. She worked as a Direct Support Professional in the heath care field, working in group homes and working with disabled patients until she retired.
Nancy enjoyed sewing, spending time with her grandchildren, flower gardens, cooking and especially loved BINGO! She was a charismatic, unpredictable and loving lady.
Nancy is predeceased by her husband James E. Pranes.
She is survived by her sons James H. Pranes of Waldoboro, Ricky Bowden of Dudley, MA, Lloyd Bowden of Augusta, ME, daughters, Lisa Day of Florida, Caroline Cram of Manchester, ME, Christine Bowden of Winthrop, ME, Jacqueline Bowden of Manchester, ME, sisters Sheila Solomon of New Hampshire, Donna Barrett of Florida, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.
The family will honor her life privately at a later date.
